Mid October 2020 Hudig & Veder Bulk department have reached a milestone. Quantities of qualified biomass destined for multiple power stations, which are handled via our various storage locations in Europe, exceeded 500.000 mton.

This exciting fact happened when handling mv Sopot in Rotterdam under our BMA agency, whereby the majority of the cargo was discharged into storage facility Marcorbulk 1 at Waalhaven. This video provides a good example of the smooth operations performed on this vessel. When temperatures are going down, the powerplants increase their consumption of biomass, reducing Hudig & Veder Bulk stocks to healthy strategic levels.
